Item 9253 is a photo album labeled “Metal products – Bulimba” consisting of a collection of 45 black and white photographs.

The photographs show a selection of staff, sample product, and the machinery used in the Metal products section of the Bulimba Telecom Workshops in Brisbane.

Note: The WW2 U.S. Navy warehouse in McConnell St. Bulimba was taken over by Telecom after the war and became their workshop.

Each photograph is labeled with any information seen written or stamped on the rear, including a negative number and date.

The negative number starts with “Q” for Queensland PMG’s Department Engineering Division Brisbane, Drafting Section, or “QT” for Telecom Australia, QLD. Drafting Section.
