Item 9269 is part of an assortment of 53 black and white photographs contained in a paper covered box 380mm x 502mm x 53mm.

 Inside this box was

7 black & white photographs (all 210mm x 157mm) attached to a 2 page report marked “Melbourne Jubilee Industrial Display 1951” with a rubber band. (ITEM 9269)

On the back of each photo is stamped “ENGINEERING BRANCH, GPO MELBOURNE.  DRAUGHTING SECTION” with a NEG. No.

The 2 page report is on “Commonwealth of Australia, Postmaster-General’s Department” paper with the address of “TREASURY GARDENS, MELBOURNE, C.2, VICTORIA”. It is referenced “G 385/2/27”, addressed to “The Director, Posts and Telegraphs, BRISBANE, QLD”.  The report describes the exhibit as “Yesterday and Today” with a description of the various items displayed.

The signature is illegible but typed “for the Director-General”
