Unlabelled ‘MARBIG’ Folder.

A collection of colour photographs contained in 1 clear A4 Sheet Protector with a sticker stating “John Kavanagh – Retirement 1995 – Irish Club”.

ITEM 9284 is a collection of 22 colour photographs relating to the Chermside Training School – Keith Clegg’s Retirement 1993.  Of these, 12 photos have some identification names written on the back.

I scanned the photos in 2022, with the photos labelled “John Kavanagh – Retirement 1995”. The back of the photos showing the names of some of those people in the “a” photo I labelled as “b”.

NOTE:

John Kavanagh was a PMG-Telecom-Telstra Senior Telecommunications Technical Officer, who worked as a Technical Instructor in the Training School for many years.

The Irish Club located at Tara House, 175 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane has been the home to the Queensland Irish Club for about 100 years, up until it’s closure in 2015.
