This item has the official installation manual for Edison Tubes.

Brisbane closely followed London UK, New York and USA Cities, and Milan Italy in using the tubes in 1886 and Brisbane was the only city in the Southern Hemisphere to ever use Edison Tubes for electricity supply. 

Limited users at first being the Telegraph, Printers and Parliament.

Our Museum has Edison tubes from Brisbane, and the team that removed the cables were able to provide samples to us and other museums around the world.
